2014 NFL Mock Draft Analysis - Green Bay Packers
Top Free Agents
WR – James Jones
DE – BJ Raji
DT – Ryan Pickett
DE – Johnny Jolly
Biggest Team Needs
The Packers could potentially lose almost 1,000 lbs on the defensive line. All three players could be back next year but we expect the packers to draft on the defensive side. It’s also possible Raji is franchise tagged and only stays on board for one more season; making the future of the d-line somewhat weak.
Top NFL Draft Targets
The Packers are almost certain to look at players on the defensive side including Kyle Van Noy (OLB, BYU) and Stephon Tuitt (DE, Notre Dame). It would be hard to imagine that the 2 top DTs, Louis Nix (DT, Notre Dame) and Will Sutton (DT, Arizona State), are around when they are up in the first round. Green Bay could also reach for Anthony Johnson (DT, LSU) and Ra’Shede Hageman (DT, Minnesota).
