Allen Robinson (WR, JAX) - 2015 Fantasy Football Sleeper

BALLER MOVE: Target in the middle rounds as a WR3/flex play with WR2 upside.

CURRENT ADP: 96 STD, 63 PPR

ANALYSIS: After a season in which he was on pace for just under 1,000 receiving yards, Allen Robinson is poised to bounce back from his foot injury in an improving offense.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have been nothing short of a dumpster fire on the offensive side of the ball for several years. Last year, however, the team showed glimpses of hope even if it was in small doses. After drafting quarterback Blake Bortles, the team expanded their receiving corps and have since brought in tight end Julius Thomas and rookie running back T.J. Yeldon. With all these new names floating around, wide receiver Allen Robinson seems to be slightly overlooked. He was on pace for 946 receiving yards prior to breaking his foot last season and with less clutter at WR, he should be viewed as the team's top wideout.

The flashier wide receiver name last season was that of Marqise Lee, a player with even more health concerns than Robinson who actually played less effectively. In fact, Lee's most productive performances didn't come until Robinson's injury. That alone should tell you that Robinson is the more reliable receiver in this offense. Throw in the fact that Cecil Shorts III is now in Houston and you have yourself a far less cluttered group of wide receivers with Robinson having the firmest grip atop the depth chart.

Trust me, I'm well aware that the Jacksonville offense has not been one to yield stellar fantasy numbers in years past, particularly in the passing game but with another year of Blake Bortles and Julius Thomas drawing attention across the middle, Allen Robinson should see his production improve. The knock on him isn't talent based but rather one foot injury that he has since recovered from. If his only competition for WR targets is Marqise Lee, a player he's already outperformed, look for Robinson to develop into a dependable WR3 with increased PPR value.
