Kansas City Chiefs (DEF, KC) - 2015 Fantasy Football Sleeper

BALLER MOVE: Target in Late Rounds

Current ADP: 168 STD

ANALYSIS: Bob Sutton's defense was the epitome of “bend but don’t break” last season, as they finished 28th in the league in rushing yards allowed, but surrendered just four rushing touchdowns.

The defense is led by Justin Houston, who racked up a league-leading 22 sacks in 2014. Alongside Houston in the linebacking corps are veterans Tamba Hali and Derrick Johnson, who missed most of 2014 with a torn achilles but should be ready to start the season.

Nose tackle Dontari Poe posted a career high six sacks in 2014. Proven run stopper Mike Devito is also returning from an achilles injury. With Eric Berry re-joining the team to play alongside shutdown corner Sean Smith and rookie Marcus Peters, Kansas City's secondary could be one of the strongest in football.

After the first four weeks, a stretch that includes the Packers and Broncos, the schedule gets a lot easier for the Chiefs.

The talent and playmaking ability are there, so if the run defense can improve, this unit can have a lot of upside. The Chiefs' DST is a good value pick late in the draft, especially in leagues that don't account for yards allowed.
