BALLER MOVE: Target in Late Rounds
Current ADP: 132 STD
ANALYSIS: The Patriots have some tough games against opposing running backs, but they should still be able to maintain the level of consistency they have displayed over the years.
New England allowed the ninth fewest rushing yards in 2014 (1,669), and surrendered just six rushing scores. They also only gave up two runs of at least 20 yards all season long.
First-round draft pick Malcolm Brown has the talent to fill the void left by Vince Wilfork, and linebackers Jamie Collins and Dont’a Hightower are both adept at stopping the run. Defensive end Chandler Jones and middle linebacker Jerod Mayo should both come back strong from injuries and help boost the pass rush.
The Patriots will get strong play from their front seven, and Belichick will find a way to maximize the talent throughout the defense. Expect them to be a good fantasy option that you can grab late in the draft.
