BALLER MOVE: Target in Deep Leagues
Current ADP: 150 STD
ANALYSIS: The Broncos had their share of troubles during the 2014 season, but they finished the season strong though, with three double-digit scoring weeks in the final five games.
Wade Phillips was hired to lead the defense, and will get to work with Von Miller and Chris Harris, as well as his former player DeMarcus Ware. The Broncos also have last year’s first-rounder, Bradley Roby, at corner and this year’s first round pick, Shane Ray, at outside linebacker.
This defense will rack up points via sacks and turnovers-- they finished in the top 10 in sacks and interceptions last year-- but the key will be whether or not they can prevent opponents from scoring. However, they don’t face an elite offense until the Packers and Colts in Weeks 8 and 9, so the schedule is favorable.
Given the talent and the schedule, Denver can be an interesting pick late in drafts.
