BALLER MOVE: Target in Rounds 9-10 as RB4
Current ADP: 108 STD, 103 PPR
ANALYSIS: Ryan Mathews is probably the best handcuff in all of fantasy football this year, given how Chip Kelly uses his running backs. DeMarco Murray will handle most of the work, while Darren Sproles should handle a majority of third down and two-minute drill work.
However, with Kelly’s fast-paced offense, Murray will be on the sidelines quite often in order to stay fresh, giving Mathews entire possessions to himself. While inconsistency will occur, he makes for a great flex option in plus match-ups, and he’ll likely see 10-15 touches in most games.
