BALLER MOVE: Target in Rounds 4-5 as Low-End WR2
ANALYSIS: A second round pick in 2014 by the Packers, Davante Adams thrived in his role as the third wide receiver on Green Bay's depth chart as a rookie. He managed 446 and three touchdowns on 38 receptions, including a six-reception, 121-yard showing in a Week 14 win over the Patriots.
Now, at the expense of Jordy Nelson, Adams has a chance to move up on the depth chart. With Nelson expected to miss significant time with an apparent ACL tear, Adams becomes a prime target for star quarterback Aaron Rodgers in one of the most high-powered offenses in football.
The second-year receiver out of Fresno State was already labeled a sleeper and a potential breakout candidate, so this unexpected promotion could land him in the top 20 for wide receivers this year.
Watch for Adams to skyrocket up draft boards going forward. Some owners may be eager to reach on the 22-year-old a bit too early, but if he falls to you in the fourth or fifth round, be sure to scoop him up.
