BALLER MOVE: Target ~170
CURRENT ADP: 179
ANALYSIS: Robert Griffin III has nowhere to go but up after he spent the entire 2015 season on Washington's bench, watching his former backup Kirk Cousins run the show. Now in Cleveland, Griffin has a second chance to prove that his amazing 2012 rookie season — in which he racked up 3,200 passing yards, 815 rushing yards and 27 total touchdowns — wasn't a fluke.
While those rushing numbers are likely unattainable, it's reasonable that Griffin can improve on the passing numbers with much better weapons than he had surrounding him in 2012. The Browns have Josh Gordon — who will return from suspension in Week 5 — Corey Coleman and Terrelle Pryor as their top three receivers to go along with a dominant red zone force in Gary Barnidge and an elusive pass-catching back in Duke Johnson.
New Browns head coach Hue Jackson has enjoyed a good deal of success coaching offense in the NFL, and should put Griffin in the best possible situation to succeed. Coming off the board around the 14th round, Griffin is worth targeting for owners who prefer to wait on quarterbacks.
