BALLER MOVE: Target ~165
CURRENT ADP: 176.3
ANALYSIS: Tim Hightower may not be a sexy name, but he was a valuable midseason pickup last year after Mark Ingram went down. Hightower carried the rock 84 times for 327 yards and four touchdowns from Week 13 to Week 16, adding 129 receiving yards on 12 catches.
Ingram has never really been both productive and healthy for a full season; last year he finally looked great but of course suffered the shoulder injury. Hightower’s only real competition for the backup running back role is C.J. Spiller, who managed just 3.1 yards per carry on 36 attempts last year.
The Saints love to spread the ball around and make a lot of players look good, so Hightower could be productive regardless of Ingram’s status. As a result, Hightower looks like a safe bet to outproduce his 195.3 ADP.
