BALLER MOVE: Target ~225
CURRENT ADP: 246
ANALYSIS: Will Tye emerged as the No. 1 tight end on the Giants’ depth chart late in the 2015 season. From Week 9 on, he averaged a little over four catches (4.25 to be exact) and 48 yards, with three touchdowns over his last four games. His standard scoring average over those weeks was 7.09 points, which put him above Julius Thomas and Travis Kelce.
The Giants attempted a whopping 623 passes last season, sixth most in the league. When Tye was the starting tight end, Eli Manning gifted him with 6.25 targets per game. His 6.5% drop percentage is unappealing, but if he can improve on that number even a little bit, Tye can emerge as one of the better pass-catching tight ends.
At his price — he is currently being drafted as the 28th tight end off the board according to FantasyPros — Tye can provide solid if unspectacular numbers for a tight end. He has the potential to finish among the top 10-to-15 tight ends in the league.
