Position, Team, NFL Draft Spot: WR, Kansas City Chiefs, 4.28
Dynasty Positional Rank: 100+
Redraft Target Round: Unranked, not viable for 2016
Analysis: Robinson is an extremely talented wide receiver that was plagued by off the field issues in college. He was suspended a total of four times by two different head coaches. He was expected to go late in the draft because of these issues, but the Chiefs reached a bit on him by selecting him late in the fourth round.
It’s tough to believe that Robinson is going to have a role this season. Chris Conley was in a similar situation as Robinson last season and he ended the year with a 17-199-1 receiving line. Robinson could be the occasional deep threat this season, but he isn’t worth drafting in re-draft leagues.
Robinson is an extremely high risk, high reward option in dynasty leagues. Off the field issues have been a huge issue in the NFL in recent years, and Robinson is going to need to fix that if he wants to have a successful career. If he can stay on the field, Robinson has the floor of a deep threat. He has the ceiling of a potential number one receiver, although that may never come to fruition. There is also word that the Chiefs are going to begin to throw the ball deep a bit more instead of their usual dink and dunk offense. Robinson is a risky dynasty prospect that could eventually become a great fantasy asset.
