Position, Team, NFL Draft Spot: WR, Buffalo Bills, 6.17
Dynasty Positional Rank: 100+
Redraft Target Round: Unranked, not viable for 2016
Analysis: The Buffalo Bills were a team that many people thought would address their lack of depth at the wide receiver position early in the draft. They opted to wait until the sixth round to take their receiver. Either they felt comfortable waiting on Listenbee or they continuously missed out on their guy before their selection. The former seems like the more likely option.
Listenbee has the opportunity to contribute this season for the Bills. He landed in the perfect situation, as the Bills are lacking talent at the receiver position behind Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods. Listenbee likely won’t be more than a deep threat early in his career, though. He was a track star and ran a sub-4.4 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. He could be one injury away from seeing the field this season, and the Bills wide receivers have a history of getting injured. He’s a good flier pick in re-draft leagues.
Listenbee is a good dynasty prospect solely for his speed. NFL teams covet speed, which means he will likely be given every opportunity to succeed in the NFL. He should have success as a deep threat early in his career, but he could potentially transform into a great option opposite Sammy Watkins in a couple years. Watkins also has a history of getting injured, which means Listenbee could become a consistent option in the Bills offense at some point in his career. He’s a good option in dynasty leagues.
