BALLER MOVE: Target ~115
CURRENT ADP: ~125
ANALYSIS: Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had a down year and a lot of owners completely forget that the Cowboys had one of the best offenses just one season ago. In 2016, the Cowboys were fifth in yards per game (376.7) and fifth in total points (421). Prescott was one of the main reasons for that because he was efficient and careful with the football. The Cowboys offense is a well-oiled machine when Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott are on the field together.
The numbers for Prescott in 2017 were not far off from his numbers in 2016 though. The biggest key was a huge jump in interceptions from only four to 13. You could say it was because Elliott was missing for six games last year. You could also say it had to do with injuries on the offensive line as well. Honestly though, Prescott just faced some regression last year. Now is the time to buy though. As others doubt Prescott, don’t waiver and jump on a deal now while you can.
Prescott has fallen to an ADP of 121.1 this off-season in dynasty leagues. Last season, his ADP ended at 64.1. He is a steal in all formats right now, being drafted after quarterbacks like Jameis Winston and Patrick Mahomes, who has played in one NFL game.
