Jimmy Garoppolo On The Move?
With Tom Brady getting a new two year extension one has to wonder about Jimmy Garoppolo his backup. Apparently a deal had been offered to the Philadelphia Eagles before Chip Kelly had been fired and he was "going to revisit the deal in the offseason". There would have been swapping of lower round picks but essentially the deal was the Eagles 1st round pick in 2016 in exchange for Garoppolo. Seems like a steep price for Garoppolo but he is a talented quarterback who is just buried behind Tom Brady on the New England depth chart. One has to wonder if Garoppolo could be offered to other teams looking for a quarterback in this draft. It also indicates a desire for New England to climb back into the 1st round after losing their pick in the Deflategate scandal.

Numbers are being compiled by the Pro Days we saw starting this past week on Thursday March 3rd. Vanderbilt and Northern Arizona kicked off the pro days while Alabama State, Arizona State, Eastern Kentucky, Nebraska and Troy held Pro Days March 4th. We will report on those Pro Days while below is the schedule for the coming week.
March 7 Auburn, Minnesota and Prairie View A&M.
March 8 Jacksonville State, Kansas State, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, UConn and West Georgia.
March 9 Alabama, Buffalo, Central Oklahoma, Oklahoma, Marshall, Monmouth, Rutgers and Wisconsin.
March 10 Clemson, Fordham, Furman, Illinois, Miami (Ohio), Mississippi State and Tulsa.
March 11 Georgia State, Ohio State, Oregon State and West Alabama.
