3 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys have contacted free-agent linebacker Bobby Wagner and expressed their interest in having him play for defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, who coached him in Seattle, according to a source. The Seahawks released the 31-year-old tackle machine this week after drafting him all the way back in 2012. Wagner was scheduled to carry a salary cap hit of $20.35 million, and it remains to be seen if the Cowboys can fit him into their budget, as they're already tight against the salary cap. Wagner has had at least 133 total tackles in each of the last six years, and he'd be an immediate upgrade for an already strong Dallas defense. If he's playing an every-down role with his next team, Wagner should once again be a top fantasy linebacker in IDP leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
