Max Muncy Will Be Ready For Opening Day
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Max Muncy (elbow) will be ready for Opening Day, according to manager Dave Roberts. Muncy has resumed hitting after tearing his UCL on the final day of the regular season last year. We'll keep a close eye on Muncy during the truncated spring training this year, but barring any setbacks, fantasy managers should have the 31-year-old slugger for a full season. The two-time All-Star has been one of the best all-around hitters in baseball in his four seasons with the Dodgers, and he slashed .249/.368/.527 with an .895 OPS, 36 home runs and 94 RBI in 592 plate appearances over 144 games in 2021. Muncy's ADP will be on the rise now that we don't have to worry about him missing games early in the season.
