3 years agoThere is heavy industry expectation that free-agent left-hander Clayton Kershaw will return to the Los Angeles Dodgers for the 2022 season. Kershaw became a free agent last November when the team didn't extend him a qualifying offer. The 33-year-old eight-time All-Star and future Hall of Famer dealt with forearm problems in 2021 and ended up making 22 starts. He went 10-8 with a 3.55 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, 144 strikeouts and 21 walks in his 121 2/3 innings. Kershaw has still been very good when he's been on the mound in recent seasons, but he's made a total of 32 starts in the last two seasons combined due to injuries, and he's become a much riskier fantasy starter than ever before.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
