Deshaun Watson Won't Face Criminal Charges
3 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson will not face criminal charges after the grand jury didn't find enough evidence on Friday. There were nine sexual-assault accusations, and none were found to be criminal. Now that we have a little more clarity on Watson's legal situation that kept him sidelined for all of 2021, his trade market should begin to take shape. The Pittsburgh Steelers have said that they have no interest in him, but the Carolina Panthers remain interested after swinging and missing on Sam Darnold last year. Watson has made the Pro Bowl in three of his four NFL seasons and is an elite dual-threat QB in his prime, but he could be facing a suspension from the league. If Watson isn't suspended at all, he'll surely be a high-end QB1 target in fantasy drafts in 2022.
