3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Trevor Bauer is expected to be placed on administrative leave for a week as the league investigates/considers a possible suspension for the 2022 season. Bauer doesn't think his case warrants a suspension since a judge who heard the case threw it out. However, even if Bauer wasn't criminally charged, MLB can and has issued suspensions to players. The right-hander was on administrative leave for the entire second half of the season last year, but the fact that there's a chance he could receive an additional suspension makes him extra risky in fantasy this spring. The 31-year-old had a nice 2.59 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with 137 K's and 37 walks in 107 2/3 innings over 10 starts to begin the year with LA, but there's a chance he's moving on before the 2022 season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
