BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 47% of leagues
ANALYSIS: The Hornets traded for Montrezl Harrell this past deadline. Although overall Harrell's minutes haven't gone down from those he was getting in Washington, they have cratered in March with three games at just 17 MP. Mason Plumlee has remained the big-boy paint-linchpin of the Hornets, hasn't stopped starting games, and is averaging around 25 MPG this month while he's been getting great shooting/rebounding numbers for two months and going.
Plumlee is just never going to command a ton of touches nor finish lots of possessions as part of this loaded and flashy Hornets squad. It is what it is, and it is also the main reason why Plumlee's usage rate is down at 11% on the year and a measly 9% in March (five games). That said, when Plumlee finishes possessions he almost always hits. Yes, only 3.3 FGA per game in the last eight games post-ASB, but a solid 70% shooting from the floor is simply great and the TOPG are manageable at a low 0.9.
Again, you get Plumlee if you need sky-high big-man shooting percentages and tons of rebounds. Plumlee has pulled down double-digit boards in 15 of the last 26 games going back to Jan. 12, and he's averaging 8.5+ RPG in March alone. His line is sitting at 6-8-4-1-1 in March in a surprisingly nice set of performances on the assists/steals/blocks fronts. Not a ton of shots swatted season-wise (0.7 BPG) but Plumlee has improved a ton of late there with 1.25 BPG after the break.

Fantasy Basketball Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 24: Isaac Okoro, Kris Dunn, Josh Richardson, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright
The deeper a fantasy basketball league, the harder it is to hit a winner with your last few picks. It is also harder to find decent help from the waiver wire if your late-round picks don't do you justice. If you picked up a few stinkers, don't lose hope just yet. I will try to […]
Onyeka Okongwu (SF/PF, ATL): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 16% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the East but are also tied for 8th and 9th with Brooklyn and Charlotte respectively. There's even a chance (albeit small) that Atlanta could rise as high as to reach the 7th seed if […]
Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]
Deni Avdija (SG/SF, WAS): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues ANALYSIS: One would reasonably think that a player seeing a playing-time boost such as that of Deni Avdija's this month would make said player drop his efficiency numbers. Well, not the case for the Wiz Wing by the looks of it. Avdija has […]
Nicolas Claxton (PF/C, BRK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season. Not quite what you expected when the season got rolling back in October, but at least more than what the Lakers would have accomplished a week from now. […]
