3 years agoThe New York Mets reportedly have had trade talks with the Cincinnati Reds for pitcher Tyler Mahle. Last season, he posted an impressive strikeout rate (27.7%) while keeping walks under control (8.4%). The 27-year-old is a central piece to the Reds' rotation, setting career-highs in wins (13), innings (180), and strikeouts (210) in 2021. The Mets are looking to add another starter and will continue to talk with the Reds about acquiring the right-hander.
