3 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles signed veteran catcher Robinson Chirinos to a one-year contract, according to Marly Rivera of ESPN. Chirinos is nothing more than a stopgap option for the O's, as top-prospect Adley Rutschman should spend the bulk of the season as the starting catcher in Baltimore. The 37-year-old Chirinos slashed .221/324/.454 with five homers across 45 games for the Cubs last season and is an afterthought in even the deepest fantasy leagues.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
