Both of his previous starts have also come this season and the 25-year-old has managed to post a 1-1-0 record with a 2.07 goals-against average and a .935 save percentage. Laurent Brossoit has struggled lately and Robin Lehner (lower body) is currently unavailable, so it's a big opportunity for Thompson to impress.
