3 years agoChase Briscoe picked a heck of a time to get his first career NASCAR Cup Series win. After all there were two other drivers behind him looking for their first as well. In the end, Briscoe held off Ross Chastain and Tyler Reddick to win the Ruoff Mortgage 500 on Sunday. Briscoe wound up winning by less than eight tenths of a second. It was not just one short restart but a second restart where Briscoe took on the field and won. The Stewart-Haas Racing driver and his No. 14 Ford were fast all day.
