3 years agoThere had been mutual interest in Denver Broncos free-agent running back Melvin Gordon III returning in 2022, but it looks like that won't be happening. Gordon had 1,904 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns while catching 60 passes for 371 yards and three receiving touchdowns in a split backfield in Denver the last two years, but it appears that the Broncos are ready to move on with impressive young back Javonte Williams in 2022 and beyond. Gordon, 28, was a solid RB2 for fantasy managers in 2021, but there's no guarantee he'll have as much upside if he lands with another team in free agency.
