Rockies Agree With Chad Kuhl
3 years agoThe Colorado Rockies agreed with former Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Chad Kuhl on an undisclosed deal on Monday, according to a source. Kuhl went from the starting rotation to the bullpen last year after a bout with COVID-19. In total, he went 5-7 with a 4.82 ERA and 1.43 WHIP while striking out 75 and walking 42 in 80 1/3 innings over 28 appearances (14 starts) for the Bucs. It's unknown if the Rockies view him as a starter or reliever, but he'll at least give them some options for the 2022 season. The 29-year-old shouldn't be an attractive fantasy option with his move to hitter-friendly Coors Field.
