Teddy Bridgewater Heading To South Beach
3 years agoQuarterback Teddy Bridgewater will ink a one-year deal with the Dolphins. The veteran will receive $6.5 million guaranteed, with the potential for the signal-caller to earn up to $10 million. He will likely serve as a mentor for Tua Tagovailoa, who will be expected to improve in his third season in the National Football league. However, if Tagovailoa doesn't show progression and struggles at any point, there is a good chance that Bridgewater could take his spot under center. Bridgewater, who saw his 2021 season end prematurely because of a concussion, has thrown for 14,437 yards, 71 touchdowns, and 43 interceptions throughout his career. The 29-year-old should have some gas left in the tank. Yet, unless Tagovailoa isn't in the lineup for whatever reason, the former Louisville Cardinal has no real fantasy value.
