3 years agoFormer New York Giants tight end Evan Engram intends to sign a one-year, fully guaranteed $9 million deal that could go up to $10 million with incentives with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars are going all in on the free-agent market on Monday with plenty of money to spend. They also signed wide receivers Christian Kirk and Zay Jones to give second-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence more weapons in the passing attack. Engram caught 46 of 73 targets for 408 yards and three touchdowns in 15 games for the Giants last year. The 27-year-old was a Pro Bowler in 2020 and is fast and athletic for the position, but he's never really reached his true potential due to injuries and drops. Engram should see plenty of targets in his new home, but fantasy managers shouldn't overpay for him as a TE1.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
