Duke Riley Re-Signs With Dolphins
3 years agoThe Miami Dolphins re-signed linebacker Duke Riley to a one-year, $3 million contract on Tuesday, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus. Riley will return to South Beach after recording 26 tackles (15 solo) in 16 games (three starts) in 2021 in his first year with the team. The 27-year-old will likely serve in a rotational role yet again for the Dolphins defense, so he won't be of any use in IDP leagues. Riley was originally a third-round selection of the Atlanta Falcons in the 2017 draft out of LSU. He has 185 tackles (109 solo), four tackles for loss, one interception, three passes defensed, a fumble recovery and half a sack in 73 games (27 starts) over five NFL seasons with the Falcons, Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles.
