Dolphins Re-Sign Preston Williams
3 years agoThe Miami Dolphins are re-signing wide receiver Preston Williams to an undisclosed one-year deal on Tuesday, according to a source. Williams has played in exactly eight games in each of his first three NFL seasons. The 24-year-old torn his ACL midway through his rookie season and has been plagued by injuries and drops ever since. The 2021 season was his worst, as he finished with only six catches for 71 yards on 16 targets over three starts for Miami. Williams will have to prove he can stay healthy in a depth role for the Dolphins behind Jaylen Waddle, DeVante Parker and the newly signed Cedrick Wilson in 2022. He should start the season on the waiver wire in all leagues.
