Laviska Shenault Jr. Could Be Moved
3 years agoThe word is that the Jacksonville Jaguars might be looking to trade wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr., which doesn't come as a big surprise after the team added receivers Christian Kirk and Zay Jones on Monday. Tight end Evan Engram was also added as a new weapon for young quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Remember, the Jaguars have an all new coaching staff under head coach Doug Pederson as well, so they may not be thrilled with Shenault in this offense. The 23-year-old was targeted 100 times in his second season, but he only had 63 receptions for 619 yards (9.8 yards per catch) and no touchdowns after scoring five times as a rookie. A change of scenery would be best for his fantasy value, but even then, he'll likely stick on the waiver wire to begin the 2022 season in most redraft leagues.
