3 years agoThe Houston Texans re-signed defensive tackle Maliek Collins to a two-year, $17 million deal on Tuesday that includes $8.5 million guaranteed, according to his agents, Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha. Collins will return to the Texans as a valuable run-stuffer on the interior of the defensive line in Houston. The Texans were one of the worst run defenses in the NFL in 2021. Collins had 29 tackles (18 solo), nine tackles for loss, seven QB hits, one interception, a fumble recovery and 2.5 sacks in 15 starts in 2021 in his first year with the team. The 26-year-old was selected in the third round of the 2016 draft by the Dallas Cowboys out of Nebraska.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
