3 years agoBaltimore Orioles catching prospect Adley Rutschman (elbow) is dealing with some elbow soreness in camp, but manager Brandon Hyde thinks Rutschman will be OK in a day or two. The 24-year-old, who is the top prospect in baseball entering the 2022 season, hit .271/.392/.508 with 18 home runs and 55 RBI in 80 games for Double-A Bowie last year. The switch-hitting backstop is incredibly advanced with his approach at the plate and has home run power from both sides. Rutschman may begin this year at Triple-A, but he has little left to prove in the minors and is fully expected to make his major league debut with the O's at some point this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
