Jack Flaherty Waiting On MRI Results
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty (shoulder) said he won't know if he'll be ready for the start of the 2022 season until he gets the results back from an MRI exam. "I'm going to give the same answer — I won't know anything until we hear back (from the MRI). … We're still waiting to hear back. I feel pretty good about things, but I won't know anything until we hear back," Flaherty said. The right-hander had an MRI on Wednesday after missing a team workout on Tuesday due to right shoulder issues. The injury seems minor, but we won't know for sure his timetable until we get the MRI results. The 26-year-old can be a solid SP2 in fantasy when healthy. In 17 outings in 2021 (15 starts), Flaherty had a 3.22 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 85 strikeouts in 78 1/3 innings.
