Eddie Rosario Down To Three Teams
3 years agoFree-agent outfielder and postseason hero Eddie Rosario has narrowed his choices to three teams as the outfield market starts to heat up in free agency. With outfielder Kyle Schwarber headed to the Philadelphia Phillies, Rosario's market will perk up. The 30-year-old spent the 2021 season with Cleveland and Atlanta, hitting a combined .259/.305/.435 with 14 home runs, 62 RBI, 11 stolen bases and 42 runs scored in 412 plate appearances over 111 games. The overall numbers are solid but not great, but it wasn't until he got to the Braves when things really started to go well. Rosario hit .271 with seven homers and 16 RBI in 33 games with Atlanta to close out the year, and then he went off in the postseason to hit .383 (23-for-60) with three home runs and 11 RBI in 16 games. His awesome playoff performance will likely cause fantasy managers to overspend.
