Eddie Rosario Returns To Braves On Two-Year Deal
3 years agoThe Atlanta Braves re-signed outfielder Eddie Rosario to a two-year, $18 million deal on Wednesday. The contract contains an option for a third year. Rosario began the 2021 season with Cleveland before being traded to the Braves at midseason. The 30-year-old lefty slugger really came alive after joining the Braves. He finished with a .271/.330/.573 slash line, seven home runs and 16 RBI for Atlanta in 33 regular season games, but he hit an incredible .383/.456/.617 with a 1.073 OPS, three home runs and 11 RBI in 16 playoff games on the way to a World Series ring. Rosario was named the NLCS MVP for his efforts and will likely be overvalued in fantasy heading into the 2022 season as a result. Expect him to be the Braves everyday left fielder.
