3 years agoNFL teams with cornerback needs have been inquiring about New York Giants cornerback James Bradberry. The Giants have been reluctant to part with him without compensation, but $2 million of his $13.4 million salary becomes guaranteed at 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Either the Giants will find a trade partner on Wednesday, or they will cut him. Either way, the Giants will save around $12 million for the 2022 salary cap if they part ways with Bradberry. The 28-year-old was a first-time Pro Bowler in his first season with New York in 2020 when he picked off three passes and recorded 54 tackles (44 solo) in 15 games played. Bradberry had a career-high four picks in 17 games in 2021, adding 47 tackles (37 solo), 17 passes defensed and two fumble recoveries.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
