3 years agoFormer Houston Texans cornerback Terrance Mitchell signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the New England Patriots on Wednesday, according to a source. Mitchell has made 29 starts the last two seasons with the Cleveland Browns and Texans, and he finished last year with 60 tackles (45 solo), one interception 10 passes defensed and three forced fumbles in 14 total games. The 29-year-old won't be guaranteed a starting spot in New England, though, and he's well off the IDP radar at his position. Mitchell was originally a seventh-round pick out of Oregon in 2014 by the Dallas Cowboys. In his seven NFL seasons, he's played for the Cowboys, Chicago Bears, Kansas City Chiefs, Browns and Texans.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
