3 years agoThe San Francisco Giants are active in their search for a left-handed bat, and former New York Mets outfielder Michael Conforto is one option the team has discussed at length internally, according to sources. He's coming off a down year but has a career .824 OPS and has hit at least 27 home runs in each season from 2017-19. Conforto also has a career .371 on-base percentage and .502 slugging percentage against right-handed pitching. The 29-year-old's market has been depressed because he has draft-pick compensation tied to him. Conforto's down season in 2021 likely had something to do with a strained hamstring that kept him out for a month. San Fran might not be the best landing spot for him, but with better health, Conforto could bounce back and be a nice fantasy value pick in drafts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
