Colin Kaepernick Reaches Out To Seahawks
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick reached out to him this week, but Carroll said he doesn't know yet if it means that Kaepernick will end up getting a shot in Seattle or somewhere else. The Seahawks recently traded Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos in exchange for several first-round picks, quarterback Drew Lock and two other players. Seattle is likely looking to add another signal-caller to at least compete with Lock for the starting job in 2022, but it's unknown if they have any interest in bringing Kap on board. The 34-year-old hasn't played in the NFL since 2016 with the San Francisco 49ers, but he's still working out in hopes of returning.
