3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers restructured the contract of wide receiver Mike Evans on Thursday. His $14 million base salary for 2022 was converted to a bonus as Tampa Bay looks to sign more free agents. According to Greg Auman of The Athletic, the star wideout has done this several times on his current deal. Evans was fantastic in 2021, hauling in 74 passes on 113 targets for 1,035 yards and 14 touchdowns over 16 games in 2021. The 28-year-old averaged 13.2 yards after the catch (22 position rank) and owned 17% of the team's target share (52 position rank). With the GOAT Tom Brady coming out of retirement and returning to Tampa Bay for the 2022 season, Evans is a surefire WR1 and is expected to be one of the top-10 receivers off the board in fantasy drafts.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
