Buccaneers Sign Logan Ryan
3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed former New York Giants captain Logan Ryan to an undisclosed deal on Friday, according to sources. Ryan is another old friend of quarterback Tom Brady and will give Tampa a leader in their secondary. The 31-year-old safety won two Super Bowls with Brady for the New England Patriots. Ryan moved from cornerback to safety the last two years with the Giants, and he'll help replace Jordan Whitehead, who signed with the New York Jets in free agency. In the last two years in New York, Ryan accumulated 145 solo tackles, three tackles for loss, seven QB hits, one interception, 17 passes defensed, five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and two sacks in 30 starts.
