3 years agoThe Cleveland Browns are giving new quarterback Deshaun Watson a fully guaranteed five-year, $230 million deal. It is $80 million more than the previous record for fully guaranteed money at signing ($150 million). The 26-year-old surprised everyone by changing his mind and deciding to waive his no-trade clause to play for the Browns. Stay tuned for details on the trade compensation, but Cleveland will likely be giving up at least multiple first-round picks for Watson. He won't be facing criminal charges for sexual misconduct, but the NFL could still suspend him in 2022, so Watson's fantasy value for next season remains in flux.
