Carter Kieboom To Undergo MRI
3 years agoWashington Nationals third baseman Carter Kieboom (elbow) was scratched from the team's spring game on Friday with right elbow soreness. Manager Dave Martinez said "it worries me a little bit," and Kieboom will undergo an MRI exam on Saturday. We'll have to wait and see what the MRI results show on Saturday, but fantasy managers should definitely be concerned with Opening Day just around the corner. If Kieboom isn't ready for the start of the regular season, Maikel Franco would be in line to see the majority of starts at the hot corner in D.C. The 24-year-old has yet to put it together in 414 big-league plate appearances covering the last three years, as he has a combined .197/.304/.285 slash line with eight home runs and 31 RBI in 106 games played.
