BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues
ANALYSIS: I'm writing this a couple of hours after Minny's game against Milly last Saturday. If you paid attention, you already know. If you didn't, let me tell you. Basically, Patrick Beverley PatBerveley'd his way to the bench early pushing Serge Ibaka from the back with just 10 minutes played. That's Pat for you: a dog like none. Now seriously, and although that surely wasn't a good look, the truth is that the action was not anything remarkably aggressive or hurting, so it's not that he will get a 20-game ban or something.
Beverly, focusing on his game and not his antics, has been an incredible addition to Minnesota's crop of youngsters. Bevs has started every single game since the start of November next to D'Lo in the Wolves backcourt and he's been fantastic, much better than expected. In fact, this season Bevs is putting up numbers that are besting his career averages almost all across the board, or at least on par with them. If you don't believe that, Pat is currently averaging a solid 9-4-5-1-1 over the 2022 season while his career line prior to this campaign reads 9-4-3-1. Oh, and he's doing all of that playing 25 MPG, two fewer ticks than his career mark.
Bevs is not shooting a ton of shots these days, nor is he excelling at hitting the few he takes. That said, he's only tasked with bombing treys away, so the low percentages make sense more often than not. He got out of a late-February/early-March slump in the past four games shooting 59% from the field on 24 total FGA. The rebounds and the dimes aren't anything otherworldly, but steady. What you can get from Pat are incredible stealing (1.0 SPG since the ASB) and blocking (0.9) numbers coming from a point-guard, though.

Fantasy Basketball Deeper-League Waiver Wire Adds for Week 24: Isaac Okoro, Kris Dunn, Josh Richardson, Corey Kispert, Delon Wright
The deeper a fantasy basketball league, the harder it is to hit a winner with your last few picks. It is also harder to find decent help from the waiver wire if your late-round picks don't do you justice. If you picked up a few stinkers, don't lose hope just yet. I will try to […]
Onyeka Okongwu (SF/PF, ATL): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 16% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Hawks are currently the 10th seed in the East but are also tied for 8th and 9th with Brooklyn and Charlotte respectively. There's even a chance (albeit small) that Atlanta could rise as high as to reach the 7th seed if […]
Immanuel Quickley (PG, NYK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues ANALYSIS: If we use common basketball sense, then the New York Knicks and Coach Thibs should try and see what the young guys such as Immanuel Quickley have in them and what they can provide the franchise with ROS, as the NYK are […]
Deni Avdija (SG/SF, WAS): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 37% of leagues ANALYSIS: One would reasonably think that a player seeing a playing-time boost such as that of Deni Avdija's this month would make said player drop his efficiency numbers. Well, not the case for the Wiz Wing by the looks of it. Avdija has […]
Nicolas Claxton (PF/C, BRK): Week 24 Waiver Wire Pickups
BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues ROSTERED IN: 24% of leagues ANALYSIS: The Nets can finally rest assured they'll make the play-in portion of the season. Not quite what you expected when the season got rolling back in October, but at least more than what the Lakers would have accomplished a week from now. […]
