Rams Making Progress On Deal For Aaron Donald
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Rams have made progress on a contract extension for All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald, and they will push to complete a deal after signing quarterback Matthew Stafford to a four-year, $160 million extension on Saturday. Donald is currently under contract through the 2024 season, but he was reportedly considering retirement after the Rams won the Super Bowl. If an extension is completed, he will most certainly become one of the five highest-paid pass-rushers in the NFL. The 30-year-old is still at the top of his game and has made the Pro Bowl in all eight of his seasons. Donald has been a first-team All-Pro in seven straight seasons and will remain a high-end defensive lineman in IDP leagues again in 2022.
