3 years agoRoss Chastain was one of the few NASCAR drivers who did extensive testing on the Atlanta track in January. The knowledge gained from those runs expect to be a major help on Sunday. During Saturday's practice session, the Trackhouse Racing driver was about a half-second slower than those January test sessions but still 16th when it came to lap averages. The No. 1 Chevy will be one to watch on longer runs as the cars "slow down" a little bit. Remember with that lower HP package, Chastain can manufacture speed as seen during the last few races. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
