3 years agoEven before the Atlanta repave and changes, Alex Bowman had not led a lap in three years at the track. He did have two top-ten finishes but never quite contended. The No. 48 Chevy was way off in the practice session. His best lap was more than a half second off from the top drivers on Saturday. Bowman struggled on tracks like Daytona and it would not be a stretch to see him lag behind the pack on Sunday. If the lap averages are any indication as the runs lengthen, that may be a more a certainty. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
