Gerald Everett Signs With The Chargers
3 years agoFree-agent tight end Gerald Everett will be another target for quarterback Justin Herbert in 2022, inking a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Chargers, with the veteran guaranteed to make $8 million. He has the potential to earn up to $12 million. Jared Cook is a free agent, so the organization moved to snag a tight end capable of making some noise from a statistical standpoint. Everett finished the 2021-22 campaign in Seattle by racking up 48 catches for 478 yards and four touchdowns, the highest marks of his career. Fantasy managers shouldn't expect a ton of production from the 27-year-old. However, Everett may benefit immensely as a member of L.A.'s high-powered offense.
