Patriots, Trent Brown Agree To Two-Year Deal
3 years agoThe New England Patriots re-signed offensive tackle Trent Brown to an undisclosed two-year deal on Monday, according to a source. It's a big move for the Patriots after Brown appeared to be headed elsewhere on the open market. The 29-year-old has played in just 14 total games the last two seasons with the Patriots and Las Vegas Raiders due to injuries, and he's only played in two full seasons in his seven years in the NFL. Brown was a Pro Bowler as recently as 2019 with the Raiders, though, and he'll give the Patriots a solid presence at right tackle if he's healthy. His return is good news for second-year quarterback Mac Jones.
